Nico and I had a great time with my mom while she was here. She got here last Friday night a little later than we had expected. Her flight was delayed leaving Houston and then when she arrived in Seattle, they had to circle the airport for quite awhile before they actually landed. We brought Nico to the airport with us because Grams was really eager to see him. This was him before we left the house.
He crashed right in the living room for about half an hour. His sleep schedule was a little off the whole time she was here, but that's okay. He doesn't get to spend time with her too often.
While she was here, we had some really great weather. She needs to come more often, because every time she's here the weather is nice. Before she came and since she's left we have had yucky, rainy, cold days. But while she was here it was nice and sunny. So we took Nico to the park and let him play. In Fircrest, they have a park called the Tot Lot. It's really nice because it's totally fenced in so the kids can run around without the parents having to worry about them going too far. We've been there for playdates before during the summer but Nico was really too small yet to do much. He's still a little young for it, but he enjoyed some of the stuff. He really liked the swings. They have this one swing that's like a big chair. It's kind of like swinging in your throne or something! Nico loved it!
He just laughed when I pushed it. It was so cute! He also liked the regular baby swing.
Look at that happy guy! He also enjoyed the tire swing with Daddy.
And they had a little car that he liked playing in, too.
And of course the bouncy horse.
What a silly guy!
I can't wait to take him back next summer when he's actually old enough to play by himself. I know he'll just love it!
