Pumpkins and Cookies!

Every year we have a pumpkin carving and cookie decorating party. It's grown pretty large over the past few years, mostly I think, because we don't live there anymore. When we were kids, it was just the cousins over at Aunt Alida's house. But either way, it's lots of fun.
Rebecca bought these really cool pumpkin decorating kits for Hannah and Madison. They were like Mr. Potato head pieces. All the kids had to do was stick the pieces in and voila! cute pumpkins!

Nico loved these pumpkins! We couldn't keep him away from them.

Micah was really funny. He didn't want to share anything with Nico. He kept saying, "That's my pumpkin, Nico! That's not yours, Nico!"

I think Nico's favorite part of the night was decorating cookies. I put him in the high chair next to me and gave him a cookie covered with icing. Yum!
This was before I put the icing on.

Then I put some icing on. At first he wasn't too sure about it.

But eventually he dug in.

Boy, was he a mess!

He got a bath right after this, or course.
The other kids had fun decorating too.

And the big kids had fun too.

Nico also tried on his Cookie Monster costume for everyone that night. He wasn't real happy about it, but he sure looked cute!

He also wore his Halloween jammies that night.
