Victoria: Day 1

When we got back from Houston, we quickly turned around and headed off to Victoria, B.C. We had a great time! It's such a beautiful city. Very nice and clean and lovely flowers everywhere. On the first day of our visit, we took a little time to just walk around the inner harbor area where our hotel was. We found a really cool hugging tree right outside of their legislative building (which was really cool too!).

After lunch, we decided to go to the Buchart Gardens. All I can say is WOW! It was amazing. Here's a picture of the sunken garden.

This picture doesn't even begin to do it justice, but you can at least get an idea of the beauty. There was an area where they had an outdoor stage for concerts, etc. that you could lay on the grass. I decided to take Nico's shoes off and let him play for a bit. He loved it and we got some really cute shots of him.

And one more for good measure. I think he was really glad to get out of the stroller. He had been in it and the Ergo carrier all day. It was nice for him to be able to stretch out and crawl around. But he didn't really seem to mind the stroller.

Look at that cute baby! We all had a great time and would definitely recommend the gardens to anyone visiting Victoria. I'd definitely go back!
