So maybe it's not just the vacuum...

I was using my hand mixer to make cookies yesterday. Nico was helping (he was on my back in the Ergo). When I turned the mixer on, he put his face into my back. It is pretty noisy. Not as loud as the vacuum, but definitely louder than my stand mixer (which never bothers him when we make bread). He didn't cry or anything, just buried his face while I was mixing. Poor little guy. I don't want to scare him, but I can't wait until John gets home to do everything! Maybe once he's old enough to taste the cookies, he'll realize the mixer is our friend!
