So it's been awhile....

And lots has happened! There was Christmas (sorry, the pictures are still on a CD and have yet to be uploaded), and New Year's (again, on the CD), our whole trip to Texas

(I thought that was a good Texas shot)

and of course, Nico's 1st birthday!!! Nico is one lucky boy. He got to have three birthday parties. We had one in Texas before we left, then we had a party at our house the Saturday after his birthday and that night we did another one at John's parents'. There was a lot of cake and a lot of presents, to say the least. And, without further ado, here are the pictures (because I know that's why you all read anyways).

We'll start with his Texas party. This was 2 days before he actually turned 1.

That little chair is what John and I got him. It's so cute. When it's put together, it looks like a little monster. Then it comes apart and can be used as a chair and table. I'll have to get a picture of it put together soon so ya'll can see it better.

Here he is sitting in it again wearing the slippers that Aunt Barb made for him.


And John and I also got him a little leather chair to match daddy's. It was just too cute to pass up.


I'll have to post pictures of the other party later. It was a lot of fun too. He had an adorable Cookie Monster cake that was super yummy, although Nico didn't do the whole cake thing again. And he got lots of fun new toys, too. All in all, Nico had a super first birthday!
