We finally got it!

We finally got our new crib! Yay! We went and picked it out last night. We ended up spending more than our voucher was for, but it was totally worth it! We were kind of limited with our choices as it was because we wanted something that some what matched his other furniture. Once we picked one out, the sales person told us they would have to order it and it would be about 2 weeks before it got there. No way! We needed a crib right then! So we looked around some more and asked about a gazillion different cribs and they didn't have any of them. We finally found one that the South Center store had in stock so we would have had to go pick it up tonight. But it wasn't really one that we liked very much and I didn't want to settle. So we asked about one last crib. It was actually one that we had both liked initially but we thought it was a little too pricey. But we decided it would be worth the extra $100 if we could have it right away. And what do you know, they had it! I was so happy. We went right home and put it together. Nico wasn't able to get to bed until about 9:30, and it was a pretty rough night. He was up at least 3 times. I think its just going to take us a little time to get him back into his normal sleep routine. But I was able to keep him in his crib all night. He didn't even get in bed with us this morning. And he's napping right now! This is the longest nap he's taken in a long time. He woke up after about 30 minutes, but I went in and rocked him back to sleep and he's been asleep for about 45 minutes since then. So that's an hour and 15 minutes total!

It's a little darker than the rest of his furniture, but it doesn't look bad. It also seems to be smaller overall than his other crib so we have a little more room. We put the mattress on the lowest setting so we don't have to worry about lowering it again in a few months.

So, here's hoping we have a good night's sleep tonight!
